"How It Gets Down" is not a real book. I made it up for this thread on Metafilter. Sometimes I just like to point out that Metafilter gets all wrapped up in the wrong part of the conversation. Sometimes it's good not to obsessively assign meaning and value to every notion that comes with some form of pseudo-intellectual street cred. So you can stop searching for this book title now. Go write it yourself. And quit emailing me asking for it. Good Day.
